This time around KC & MC Astro launch into outer space, twist up satellite communications and return to earth in a ball of fire with this 3 track experience. It’s one hell of a ride and certainly showcases the raw talent that’s behind the beats and bars.
‘Rock The Sound’ takes on a different kind of vibe for Natty Dub with it’s big stadium style sound, full of bright kicks and snare, arpeggiated riffs and Astro’s big vocal projection. Time to smash the button on the Co2 cannon, directing obviously right at the front row. If the bassline on this one doesn’t make your feet shuffle, you’re literally a Dead. Man. Walking.
Hijacking the nearest spacecraft, KC & MC Astro take a joyride for a full on ‘Moon Patrol’ to planet drums. This one really demonstrates how to lyrically ride a track, perfectly executed with enough flair to put even the best mic controller to shame. Turn it up, it’s getting hot!
Sticking the battered craft in the skip, hopping on the motorway and slapping ‘Driving Fast’ in the cassette deck like a raver returning from an all nighter is the only way to play the end track from this wicked EP. Remember the story in the news regarding a motorist getting busted for speeding and the excuse given was drum & bass? Well that’s your warning, don’t be the next one to lose your license!
