The "Obsidian" EP marks the annual return of Tweakz to Syncopix Records.
This time around, the Hamburg-native serves us a selection as broad as none of his previous releases have, with more collabs than ever. The title track, a result of a long evening with drinks and friends Syncopix and Duktuz at Syncopix Records HQ is representative of this EP's diversity.
You'll find deep cuts like “Four Minutes" featuring fellow producer Dava or soul-infused pieces like "Rock You Up" featuring vocalist Jamal Dilmen as well as funky jungle basslines like in "Maybe"(featuring Dava, vocalists Slay & Ej Kitto), a true banger making us long for warm club nights, with radio airtime potential.
Additionally, Nectax and Askel treat us with two remixes of "Fatal Attraction", the title track on Tweakz' latest release on Syncopix Records.
