Following their huge 2019 summer anthem '#WeAreMadeOfLight' ("hands-in-the-air vocals and euphoric nods aplenty" – #DJMag / "a classic summer D&B ballad" – YourEDM) and before the dust has even settled on '#Pressure', their high-energy dancefloor collaboration with #TorontoIsBroken (#Viper, #YANAMusic), #DeuceAndCharger are back with another vocal and synth-driven banger, '#StayTonight'. Building from layers of swirling analogue synths, a yearning verse vocal dramatically gives way to an epic synth lead. Drenched in reverb, the standout synth riff crescendos with risers and drum rolls before climaxing on a dancefloor-slaying drop. The vocal then returns on top of the surging drums and bass, emphasising the track's insistent melodic and emotive core. With tracks on leading labels such as Viper, Liquicity and Technique, and the launch of their own Lost Together Music in 2019, ‘Stay Tonight’ sets up a massive 2020 for Deuce & Charger.
