The evocative piano house jam which took inspiration from the seminal piano line in ‘Someday’ by the legendary CeCe Rogers, a riff that grew to greater fame when sampled by Liquid in their 1992 hit ‘Sweet Harmony’. Now reimagined by SyRan, the Drum & Bass duo signed to Andy C’s label RAM Records, the track has been transformed into a hard-hitting D&B smash.
SyRan has grown to be a staple on line-ups across the country, from nights like Jungle Juice to the Ritual Collective. Drawing for tracks by Camo & Krooked, Culture Shock, Technimatic and LSB, their own records clearly complimenting many of the scene's trend setting cuts.
After the release of ‘Last Summer’ the track received TV syncs from the likes of Love Island, Match of the Day and TOWIE, and has received numerous plays at radio including spins on KISS FM by Gorgon City, Anton Powers and DJ S.K.T and was also added to the KISS Dance playlist. It reached #4 in the upfront club charts and #9 in the Music Week Commercial Pop charts.
