Entering 2021 in a bold way, the dons Dossa & Locuzzed are back with two brand new tracks on home label Viper Recordings. Since finding a home on Viper in 2016, the Austrian duo have been met with huge success flying the funky drum & bass flag high across the globe. Releasing their debut album at the end of 2019, the celebrations continued far into 2020 with a series of critically acclaimed remixes of some of their most well-loved tracks. Now, kicking off the new year in a big way, Dossa & Locuzzed are releasing two brand new tracks, ‘Right Way’ and ‘Tommy’.
'Tommy' which has been a Beatport only track will join 'Right Way' on 5th Feb as a single on all platforms.
‘Right Way’ is an elegant number featuring the luxurious vocals of Anastasia. Rich, deep, and opulent, Dossa & Locuzzed deliver velvety warmth alongside piercing vocals for this gorgeous liquid number. While the duo may have become best known for their dancefloor destroying anthems, ‘Right Way’ serves as a strong reminder of their versatility as producers, who deliver illustrious golden-hour vibes with this one.
'Tommy' is a tribute to the iconic wobble of 2008 jump-up drum & bass. Infused with their signature funky twist, the track’s opening is classic Dossa & Locuzzed, wasting no time to build anticipation before a decimating drop. Simultaneously nostalgic and refreshing, the duo put their own unique spin on such a familiar and integral sound for what is sure to be a favourite amongst peers and punters alike.
Demonstrating once again why Futurebound was so keen to sign them to the label, Dossa & Locuzzed have delivered another dose of their signature funky sounds at both ends of the drum & bass spectrum with ‘Right Way’ and ‘Tommy’. Showing they can master both liquid gold and jump-up weaponry, the duo are starting off the new year in a big way, and if there’s anything you can count on from these two, it’s that there will be plenty more in store for 2021.
