Coinciding with Barry Ashworth’s debut festival, Mucky Weekender, the reggae-jungle party generals Dub Pistols are back with TWO remix packages of their infamous 2012 hit ‘Mucky Weekend’.
Featuring Rodney P and FKA Twigs, who stars in the video, Mucky Weekend documents the highs and lows (but mainly the highs) of a night of debauchery and mayhem; a classic tale that only the likes of Barry Ashworth could tell!
Now the raucous single is back with alternate takes by up and coming drum & bass DJ King Yoof, DJ Mag favourite Danny Wav and multi instrumentalists Rich Thair and Ali Friend of the pioneering electronic group Red Snapper and new project, Number.
Constantly on the road, Dub Pistols have decided to pitch up in Sussex for the weekend of the 20th September to host their first festival, Mucky Weekender. Over two nights the festival will host legendary artists such as Leftfield, Don Letts, Darren Emerson and much more. However It wouldn’t be the Mucky Weekender without a special performance by The Dub Pistols who are guaranteed to cause a storm!
