The forthcoming single from French outfit Forum (known separately under aliases The Clamps, Opsen and SKS) is their debut on RAM Records, seeing them promoted from its sister-label ProgRAM to now finding themselves on the main imprint. Having also been part of RAM’s seminal annual compilations series, this standalone offering sets a precedent for the producers. As they continue their relationship and meteoric rise under the RAM moniker.
With stuttering drum breaks, heavyweight basslines and the signature sound Forum are renowned for, opener ‘Empire’ kicks off first. Meanwhile, ‘Time For Love’ with its high quality production standard, intricate percussive layers and solid grooves delivers the flip. With both tracks highlighting their return to add another chapter to the Forum story.
