The #AxonRecords family is growing once more.
This time, they add Portuguese legend #Fragz to their already impressive roster of artists. Providing an original piece, plus a remix of #MentalTransition by #NickBee. Both tracks stand as a testament to #Fragz evolution as an artist, showing increased depth and melodic exploration. Musically, the release is a reflection of its namesake.
The A Side, entitled ‘#CallforChange’, features angelic vocals from Swedish artist #LaMeduza. Starting off with a euphoric backdrop, the track evolves, and drops into a combination of deep, tech, and dance floor elements. Containing intricate rhythm and melodic aspects, together they act as a strong juxtaposition to illuminate a powerful, warm, and intelligently modulated bass line.
On the flip side, we have a remix of #NickBee’s ‘#MentalTransition’, which was the sixth release by the label. Putting his spin on the techy original, #Fragz translates his version into a deep roller. Taking resampled elements from the initial track and using them in a combination with his own elements, he has created a piece of music that is incredible in its own right.
Amongst an era of increased separation and uncertainty, #Fragz provides the world with exactly what it needs – change.
