Italian beatsmith Frame makes his debut on Trust with a double A-sider in the shape of Commander & Boogaloo. Riki Frame 1st came to the attention of Trust with his stunning releases on The Dreamers label & Trust boss Trex soon put his A&R skills to work & snapped up these two heaters for the label.
Commander rolls out nicely with a low slung bass groove & tough steppers drums, complemented by a bboy vocal sample, smooth pads & sound effects that that will definitely sit well with the discerning D&B head.
Boogaloo is the busier track of the two & after the sweet summer style intro the track lives upto it's name & unleashes a big & bouncy bassline, with a sense of clarity in the low frequencies that cuts through right to the core. Really tight drum work, clever edits & amen fills that provide that essential injection of enery & excitement that's guaranteed to keep the dancefloor jumping.
