Woi Lemme tell you one thing! Twist Recordings next release is coming from Norfolks very own bossman selceta pon da tunes J.O.E with his new E.P Rock The Building.
Demolishing through this absolute bass shaker of a first track called “Rock The Building”. The intro has a 90s inspired style Arp with that noughties dance era feel. Unexpectedly, the tune comes down on you like a ton of bricks when that first drop hits. The structure and pattern work that follows is grungey and dark with a bassline that wobbles your nut. The distortion of grot rinses through your eardrums, peaking the highest of decibels and ripping through your body at a rumbling and heavy weight speed. This concrete track will defo turn heads and make your walls wobble!
The second track “Lemme Tell You One Thing” straight rolls in with them spacey vibes. The elements of the track are reminiscent of that Low Down Deep style! It has those naughty switches every 16 bars to keep things interesting and jheeze, that break down gives you the breather you need to catch your breath ready for when the second drop kicks in and hits you with that stampy womp again! What a lunger of a track!
Next one up “Could Have Known”. This one slaps sideways! The trippy intro build up pulls you in like your smashed and going on a big adventure. The drop is a proper dirty jump up face screwer that will pull all the jump up heads to the dance floor!
Sprinting in to that last track of the E.P “Running”, brings that happy vibe to your soul with that continuous roll throughout very buzzy, floaty and wompy. It fills all your senses to make you get that sweat on!
