Wow man, release number 50! Big ups to everyone who has supported the label in any way over the years. For us this is an important milestone, and we have two hard hitting full vocal tracks in the form of a collaboration between label boss Jaxx, and the cool fly guy MC Boogieman who has a laced the tracks with his serious lyrics.
Jaxx & Boogieman - Napalm Riddem:- From the get go it is quite a dark but reggae and jungle sounding intro with the crisp drums, guitar plucks and an atmospheric pad, with Boogieman's lyrics taking you all the way to the drop and beyond, accompanied by the gritty analog bassline from Jaxx's Arturia Mini Brute 2 semi modular synth.
Jaxx & Boogieman - Wake Up:- Into track two, this one is more on a jungle flex, with an open intro building suspense and a false sense of what is about to occur, with phased and filtered reggae plucks, the filtering breaks bring you forward, followed by reese basses, distorted 808s and the deep lyrics of Boogieman.
