Up next we have label boss Jaxx alongside the talented MPW with their first colab EP, they are both born, bred and repping their hometown of Hemel Hempstead. They have been stacking tracks over the last few years and thought it was about time to start putting more of them out, so here goes..!
Jaxx & MPW - Fifth Dimension:- Starting off with some punchy beats and eerie soundscapes taking you to the drop, where the fifth dimension vocal creeps in followed by sublow basses, foghorns and percussive progressions, this one is a handy tool for any DJ.
Jaxx & MPW - How Ya Been:- Track two is on a jungle stepper tip, again starting off with tight drums with musical intro pads and tones. When the bass hits, it's one for the wobble gang.
Jaxx & MPW - Selecta:- Straight into track three, more on a jump up vibe this time, starting off with a crafty piano hook and crunchy drums, followed by a dirty riffing bassline and lots of ear candy to keep you locked in the groove.
Jaxx & MPW - Trust:- Track four is on an old Bristol kind of flex with a modern twist, starting off with dreamy pads and rolling beats then taking you into a deep and catchy bass hook with some finely tuned fx and progressions.
Jaxx & MPW - Like A Jungle:- Last but not least we have Like A Jungle, which closes the EP real nice. This one starts off on a minimal jungle vibe and then transforms into an amen tear out at the half way point of the tune.
