Luxs- We Aint Like Them EP- Straight Up Audio / SUA017

Straight Up Audio returns hot off the previous release that's still causing mischief worldwide “Get Darker EP” by Jinx.

The labels to be doing nothing but going from strength to strength every single month and SU017 is no exception with a new name to the fray, 29 year old East Sussex producer LUXS.

Already well known for his minimalist rollers and brockout heavyweight jungle sounds, Luxs has been carving his way through the scene since 2008.

Recent outings for Luxs have seen him release on top flight labels such as Envision Recordings, Distorted Records and his own imprint. Raw.

Adding Straight Up Audio now to his catalogue a monumental 4 tracker that's ready just in time for those summer daytime raves.

Calling all junglists!

“Luxs - Get It Together”

Breaking out of the EP first up we have this anthemic destroyer. Luxs brand of Jungle and minimal bass ridden intros are on display in full force and the drop gives full on 93` junglist memories before landing back into the huge “SELECTA” vocal before rolling out into the mid section of the track with ultra snappy percussion and FX throughout.

“Luxs- Boat Load”

We kick Boat load off with a huge 36 bars from a mystery MC who spins this one into a massive, and out of control drop of layered bass stabs and FX.

More snappy Percussion rolls this one along with no holding back as the track just gets heavier by the minute.

“Luxs- We Aint Like Them”

Another huge dark and gritty roller. And another huge Vocal section from a highly talented MC. Grime vs Jungle is the order of the day on this. if there ever was a reason to want to hear something new and exciting this is the track to choose, An ultimate party track.

“Luxs & Parvati- PuffPuff”

Luxs closes out this release in a big way with a collaboration with the exceptionally talented Parvati.

They go no holds barred on this one with a flurry of FX and Bass. A simple melody is heard dropping in and out to create a much more eerie feeling to the previous 3 tracks. But nevertheless another huge destroyer of anything you would dance on.
