Slime is proud to unveil its first sister label dedicated purely to drum & bass - #Shadowhearts.
For our eighth release we welcome London-based DJ and producer #MKII to the label for his new EP, "#Drift".
#MKII is one of the most prolific and well-regarded artists on the #UKGarage scene, but also lends his impeccable production skills to D&B too, with his inimitable emotive style still present in the higher tempo range.
The title track fires up with driving percussion and suspense- ful chords building the drama, dropping into ethereal atmospherics before unfolding into a beautiful piano-led liquid roller that will warm your soul.
"#Far" begins with glittering FX and opaque vocals before breaking out with cinematic purpose into wide-screen melo- dies and crystal clear basslines like the invisible soundtrack to an epic film.
"#Within" takes the methodology behind the former tracks and amplifies it with plaintive female vocals against melancholy tones for a truly beautiful piece of music that will capture your heart.
