Oli Lewis returns to Trust with two stunning tracks that lead us perfectly out of the Summer madness into the Autumn tussle.
Tumbleweeds has been doing bits on dub for a minute & it's easy to see why, with it's catchy riff & jazzy interludes. A seriously funky track & one of those tunes that gets better with every listen. Oli has that magic touch, he manages to bring fresh & interesting sounds to the mix with ease. Not one for following the trodden path of current trends, this young Cornish beatsmith is clearly in his own lane.
Standing Stones is future funk for the seasoned connoisseur, the flow is awkward & uneasy with a tension that is relentless. Once again the production is tip top & sound design is tight. You have to admire Oli, the levels of maturity & accomplishment he brings to his music is well beyond his years.
We continue our pursuit of releasing new music that pushes boundaries & Oli Lewis is a perfect example of what we do.
