If you haven’t heard about Operate by now then serious questions need to be asked… An artist at the forefront of the next-gen talent driving the future of the drum and bass scene, Operate has been making a name for himself in the short time he has been operating. With recent releases on Hospital Records, Shogun Audio and Overview, it’s fair to say he’s currently in one of the best moments of his career. You only have to listen to his recent “Diamonds” link up with two of the best MCs in the scene in Duskee and Degs to understand why we (and many others) have got a lot of love for Operate!
Onyx Recordings are stoked to reveal Operate has conjured up another MC-driven masterpiece. “Ivory” sees the Bournemouth-based producer team up with the vocal talent of T-Man – one of many MCs putting Manchester on the map as the go to destination for lyricists. If you copped T-Man’s recent “Levitate” collab with DJ Gaw and Disrupta, then you’ll know all too well what his lyrics can do to a D&B track. Trust us, this one is big.
