‘Music’s Got Soul’ was receiving an impressive amount of club support pre-covid and has continued getting heavy rotation on livestreams and radio, a sign of how sought after this track is.
Cleveland Watkiss is a true jungle veteran, integral to the seminal Metalheadz Blue Note Sessions, was a regular at the legendary Movement nights and has previously appeared on V Recordings, Liquid V and many other labels in the D&B world and beyond. He’s racked up an impressive number of honours including ‘Best Jazz Act Nominee’ at the MOBO Awards 2017, ‘Vocalist of the Year’ at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2017, ‘Guardian Jazz Awards Best Vocalist’, and ‘Best Vocalist’ at the London Jazz Awards 2010.
Having both worked on solo projects within D&B for many years, Paul T & Edward Oberon combined to form a production outfit back in 2014. With a string of highly successful releases behind them, they have now perfected their sound. A fusion of their liquid roots and grittier beats proving to be a winning combination as they bring the soul back to the dancefloor.
