If you're not on the Ramp Up hype train yet, here's where to jump aboard. The Bristol collective have firmly established themselves on the scene with two charity albums, two essential EPs and parties that have become vital destinations for real heads.
And, now, the crew have something brand new for us.
First, Slix delivers 'Brighter Dayz', building from a gorgeously liquid intro into bubbling bass and break-loaded roll-out drums. Flipping the concept on its head, then Jaxx steps up for 'Darker Dayz', an irresistibly energetic deejay weapon with gorgeously warping low end and all the classic Bristol DnB influence a connoisseur could ask for.
As if that wasn't enough, the mighty Suv comes through with his flip of 'Brighter Dayz', twisting the soulful elements around masterful drum programming and a grit-infused bassline.
The Bristol drum 'n' bass scene has been inspiring and energising ravers and artists alike for decades, and, with releases like this, Ramp Up is playing a major part in bringing those platinum-standard vibes to a whole new generation.
