Soulfil’s name makes it easy to discern his influences; a young producer who kick started his career in 2019, he pays homage to the likes of Break, Spectrasoul, Calibre and Keeno throughout his sounds, whilst adding his own identity. This is something reflected in his forthcoming ‘Where You Are’ EP dropping on ProgRAM this Spring.
Soulfil debuts on RAM Records sister-label alongside four fresh tracks, nodding to why he’s already celebrated support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM and from tastemakers such as DJ Storm to Fred V and BCee. Mali Lloyd joins Soulfil for the EP’s emotive title-track ‘Where You Are’, as the flowing note strokes of ‘Rush You’ and ‘We Were’ follow suit. The producer also offers up a more hard-lined cut in the form of ‘Featherweight’, adding a brush of versatility to the track list. So once again, it’s time to get with the ProgRAM. Readying you for the lighter months through this forthcoming release.
