Cause4Concern Limited is an offshoot of a label which has spent decades carving itself into the walls of drum & bass history, every time providing the standards that many fans have come to expect from such a buy-on-sight platform and with the forthcoming project ‘Machine Code’ the bar has been set even higher.
‘TRCD’ is the next artist to add to the catalogue of C4C Limited. His production techniques are impeccable throughout his forthcoming ‘Machine Code EP’. The twists and turns of ‘TRCD’ opening track ‘Machine Code’ deliver a seismic impact, showing you the honed grooves, which makes the producer’s tracks ooze with so much danceability. Then comes ‘Code Breaker’, ducking and diving between a frenzy of beat patches alongside its quick flitting drum sequences, pulling you into the chaos as the track begins to break down. ‘Energize’ feat ‘Konquest’ follows suit, bringing flavours to the backdrop of hard-hitting drum & bass, which is executed with sublime prowess, It underscores ‘TRCD’ keenness to push the boundaries of his craft. Next to the fold ‘Extraction Point’ makes its presence known’ is more mechanical in its fashioning, taking you step by step through its motions, a stop-start neuro weapon. Lastly ‘Time Cycles’ jumps ahead through kick drums that pulsate against every relay of its bassline with each sequence colliding throughout this fixture.
‘TRCD’ makes his presence felt on C4C Limited; on doing so, he adds another chapter to the ever evolving C4C story, all while respecting its history and its original message – to deliver only the most cutting-edge music.
‘Machine Code’ will arrive to Beatport & Spotify on 28th April, landing on all digital platforms two weeks later on 12th May.
