#Trex rounds of the year with another tasty treat for the #Trust catalogue. '#TooFar' has been doing the rounds on dub in various forms for a little while now but there is no mistaking that sweeping penetrating bass groove that remains the big attraction on this. #Trex has gone in & put the final magic touches to the mixdown with added effects & sci fi soundscapes, kinda reminiscent of late 90s Ed & Op with a touch of #TroubleonVinyl. #Trex showing his knowledge & experience of 20 years mastering his craft & drawing on all his influences over the years, yet still unmistakenly #Trex.
On the flip '#GodDamnSound' features long time spar #Eljay, no stranger to making beats & has credentials going back to the 90s, remember #LPlates & #Hardleaders, just two of the imprints #Eljay released on back in the day plus most recently the colab with #Trex on #Dispatch. Its not before time we see him release on #Trust. This one jabs & probes with a relentless energy that pulsates throughout the track, its a techy rollout that sits tidy in the mix & adds another dimension to your set to keep the people skanking & the heads checking.
