The Tribes series returns with Vol.7....& trust we...it's possibly the best one yet!

A big statement considering the quality & calibre of the previous volumes but that is the general impression so we're rolling with it.

Kicking off the show, it's 'Souped Up' maestro Benny V & 'Trust' CEO Trex, who team up in impeccable fashion to bring us 'Tundra'. A haunting intro builds suspense until the mortal subs & killer beat combination maim ya speaker box. A beautifully filthy roller that has you hypnotised from the start & as you'd expect the production quality is levels! Rousing stuff from the label bosses, this is a team up we hope to see more of in the future?

Next up is a new artist to DnB but no stranger to production, S0LID is none other than Mehmet Ozbek, who if you don't know, is a well known Techno producer & DJ from Istanbul. His roots were always in bass music back in the day so It has been a natural progression for him to go back in on some beats & bass. S0LID released his first EP on UK based dubstep label 'Wheel & Deal' and has support from amazing artists like N-Type, Kromestar & Youngsta to name a few. This track Mortality is S0LIDs 1st official DnB release & boy what a way to make an entrance. Like Tundra this one kicks off with an eerie & unsettling tone but soon enters into a techy rollers promised land that has so much funkin' energy & dancefloor persuasion, you simply have to pull it up & go again. S0LID is definitely one to watch for the future!

Next up is another new name to most of us & another 1st DnB release for new guy on the firm, Witzen with his outstanding debut 'Shop Run' This track has everything, old skool sensibilities meets new skool production style, slick Jazz sax licks & sublime basslline & wobbles that bob & weave like a champion. Trex discovered Witzen in his 1-2-1 online sessions & after hearing this track, it was an instant signing...serious Jam!

And finally but by no means least, the mighty Zombie Cats are back on Trust. They first appeared on the Tribes Vol.5 EP with their hard hitting 'Snake Bite'. This time it's the man like Felix Raymon that has gone in on the remix & it's ALOT! Stripping it back & taking it deeper but keeping the elements of the original that made it so popular. A funked up, tech driven monster with synth & bass stabs that prod & probe throughout to leave you breathless. A perfect way to close the show...Encore? Just play the whole EP again, you'd be foolish not to.
