One of Viper’s most well-loved compilations is returning for the first time since 2018: The Sound of Drum & Bass 2021. Curated by Futurebound, the compilation features a plethora of the best & brightest new Drum & Bass in the game, sharing a name with the popular Spotify playlist that shines a spotlight on the best new music each week. This year’s compilation features 10 brand new exclusives plus a selection of favourites from the past year, all leading to an unmissable album release. In classic Viper fashion, new exclusives from the hottest up-and-comers sit alongside the year’s biggest releases from scene veterans Matrix & Futurebound, Cyantific, Rene LaVice, Grafix, Koven, and more. Plus, with early samplers from BLVCK CROWZ, Futurebound & BMotion, Tall Order, SOL, Phonetic & CydeFX, the bar could not have been set higher before the full release of the year’s biggest compilation: The Sound of Drum & Bass 2021, only on Viper.
The Voss – Must Love Dags: We’re really excited to be showcasing some fire from the US – the DnB scene over there just keeps getting better and better and The Voss is a prime example of that. We love seeing the creativity and passion coming from our family across the pond and the reactions are always superb.
Bugwell – Power Out: Bugwell is a newer act that we’ve been really feeling lately – his debut on the Annual 2021 went down a treat and “Power Out” is a huge record that we know people are going to love!
Simon Splice – My Love: Simon is a huge industry player behind the scenes and has been for years, so it’s a huge honour for us to be releasing one of his originals again on Viper. We’re really excited to see how people respond, the feedback from peers has been massive already.
Tengu & Maddy V – Underneath The Shadows – These two make such a killer combo, the fresh talent in the UK is just off the charts at the moment and Maddy V has been crushing it for a long time as an MC – these two together have made some serious fire.
