Canadian-born #Zeal first came under the #Program banner alongside #JakeRobertz with single ‘#Monster / #CheckIt’, which graduated the newcomer producers onto a groundbreaking underground imprint. Since then, he’s gone on to grace the label’s arsenal of releases with his ‘#YesterdayLanes’ EP and now with another forthcoming package demonstrating his evolution as a artist. Buzzing with emotional energy and proving the passion his has for his art through each painstakingly sculpted part of the track list, the next delivery from #Zeal is full of the musical expression which attracted the attention of #Program and its team.
The ‘#Azure’ EP pulls you into his cross pollination of genres, with the lush tones of its title-track giving a more emotive presence alongside co-producer #SkyKnock. ‘#Confidence’ rolls across its composition with stabs of shaking synthesis and ‘#SayitNow’ follows suit amongst elevating note sequences. Then finishing the collection is ‘#Stumble’, pushing forward with a dainty piano lead. Once again, it’s time to get with the #ProgRAM, with the #Azure EP showing its smoother sounds.
